PATIENT REPRESENTITIVE SESSION.

On February 1st I had the pleasure to be the Pancare patient representative for the annual kick off session with pharmaceutical manufacture Specialist Therapeutics at the RACV club in Torquay, Victoria.

Specialised Therapeutics is an international, independent pharmaceutical company providing specialist medicines to patients in Australia, New Zealand and across South East Asia.

Along with the PanSupport team Dr Amy Larsen, David Menzies and specialist nurse Shannon Gleeson we shared with the ST team why it is so important from the very beginning of your cancer journey that you get the best support available.

Having informative tools such as a personalised care kit program for each patient from day 1 is vital to ensure every patient knows exactly what support is on available and where to obtain it from.

“Time is not our friend” which makes immediate support and new therapies to make a difference a huge priority.
