PAR 5 GOLF DAY 2024

This time I got to play !!!!!!

On Monday 26th February I had the pleasure and joy to attend the annual PAR 5 golf day held at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Golf Club.

Last year whilst on chemo treatment I was able to attend the 2023 golf day at Peninsula Kingswood Country Club for the lunch / presentations which was amazing but physically unable to play. Not the case this time in 2024. Feeling the best I have both mentally and physically for quite some time there was no way I wasn’t going to tackle the number 1 golf course in the country. I was treated like a pro and it was an experience I will never forget.

Par 5 is an exciting Pancare strategic initiative, striving to deliver more sustainable funding into cancer research projects focused on new treatments, to ultimately improve survival rates for upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancer which – collectively – sit at just 20% to 5 years. PAR 5 golf day is supported by Business owners and their executives.
